How to use the lymphatic massage brush.

NEXO Borste is a lymphatic massage brush for the scalp and face. The technique is simple, takes about a minute, and follows the same principle no matter when you use it: soft strokes that follow the fluid's natural path toward the glands behind the ears.

The technique, step by step

Start in the middle of the face. Draw the brush lightly and gently out toward the ears, never hard. Then continue down the neck, toward the glands behind the ears. Always work from the center outward, never the other way. About a minute is enough, morning or evening.

During the swelling period

In the first days after a hair transplant, many people get swelling, and it can move down toward the forehead and eyes. That is common and passes on its own. Lymphatic massage is a gentle technique that helps the fluid move in the right direction during those days. Always ask your clinic when they want you to start, and never touch the area itself until they have given the go-ahead. You can read more about the first days in the first seven days and in the article on swelling and lymphatic massage.

In everyday life

Many keep using the brush long after the aftercare period. Across the whole face in the morning, after a long flight, or when the skin feels puffy after a short night. Both women and men use it, on the scalp as well as the face. It is the same technique, the same minute.

Cleaning the brush

Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water now and then, and let the brush dry with the bristles facing down. If you do not share it with anyone, one rinse a week is enough.

NEXO Borste is sold separately and is included in our clinic kit together with the ritual.
